+++ PLASTICS PROCESSING AND PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY FROM SWITZERLAND +++

One of our Swiss customers is a specialized provider of plastics processing and plastics technology, focusing on customized solutions for international customers. Founded in 1906, the owner-managed company employs around 35 people and is led by a sole owner as managing director. Our customer develops and produces high-quality plastics applications used in various industries such as medical technology, lighting, mechanical engineering, and consumer goods. The motto "Innovation in Plastics" reflects the commitment to creative and technically sophisticated solutions manufactured exclusively in Switzerland.

A key offering of our customer is optical bonding, a globally unique process that bonds glass touch sensors to plastic fronts. This process enables impact- and scratch-resistant surfaces with low weight, which is particularly attractive for applications in medical devices, laboratory equipment, and high-quality consumer goods such as coffee machines. In addition, services such as plastics consulting, prototyping, bonding, welding, thermoforming, screen printing, and CNC technologies are offered.  One example is the development of a highly efficient lighting unit with a special material combination and LED light input, ensuring uniform light distribution without any loss of quality. Our client focuses on sustainability by offering acrylic sheets made from 100% recycled material, which is in turn recyclable.

The company works with renowned international customers, which underscores its reputation. Production takes place in a factory that emphasizes craftsmanship rather than mass production and trains young talent to secure skilled workers. An in-house plastics and testing laboratory enables comprehensive testing and environmental simulations, accelerating the development of innovative solutions.

Strategic investors can benefit from several aspects by investing in our client. First, the unique optical bonding technology offers a competitive advantage in high-growth markets such as medical technology and consumer electronics. This technology positions the company as a market leader in a niche area. Second, the strong customer base with globally operating companies enables stable revenues and potential for further expansion.  Third, a focus on sustainability, such as using recycled acrylic glass, supports access to environmentally conscious markets and investors who pay attention to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria. Fourth, an investment could finance the scaling of production or entry into new markets, for example, through the expansion of subsidiaries, for example, in the USA. Switzerland as a location offers additional advantages for investors: political stability, a liberal economic system, first-class infrastructure, and a competitive tax system promote long-term growth and sustainable development.
